“Summer In The Street” is the result of an initiative to identify/create pedestrian-friendly areas Downtown where musicians, theatrical and dance companies can entertain folks in the heart of the City.  Activities hosted in partnership with other non-profits are part of the Mission of our “Street” sessions.  Pleasant Street from Porter Street to Market Square closes from 5:00pm – 9:30pm Saturdays on designated weekends during the Summer.  The event, now in its eleventh year, creates a gathering spot in the heart of Portsmouth for friends, neighbors and visitors alike.  This Event happends every Saturday from June 28th – August 2nd of 2014.
